Taralga Rural Genesis Horse Arena (Proudly Sponsored by Taralga Rural & Ancare) Important Notice - All exhibitors to read Please contact Scott Craig ph:0428484459,home:48438138, email:scott.craig1@bigpond.com with any queries related to horse events Important Notice - Horse Events at Taralga Show 2008 HORSES FROM THE GREEN/WHITE ZONE ONLY WILL BE ACCEPTED. For Travelling Horse Statements - Event Number is HER-1467 The Taralga Show committee has decided to proceed with horse events at this years show. The show has to register with the Department of Primary Industries as an event and all competitors must supply a Transported Horse Statement ( THS) for all horses they are bringing onto the showground or entry to the grounds will be refused and the horses sent home. Horse owners should adhere to strict biosecurity principles and all gear and equipment should be thoroughly cleaned before leaving home. More details on biosecurity procedures can be viewed at the DPI website: http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/agriculture/livestock/horse/influenza. The website is also where THS’s can be filled in and downloaded and two copies should be printed as one will be collected at the showground. If for any reason there is an outbreak of EI in NSW prior to the show the horse events may be cancelled without notice. The word LOCAL in any class in this horse schedule shall be taken to mean residents of the TARALGA POLICE DISTRICT and/or past or present members of the TARALGA PONY CLUB that have attended at least one Pony Club camp. Miscellaneous Show Information Classes will be judged as near as possible to the order in which they appear in the schedule. Classification of Sizes: Pony n.e. 14 hands Galloways 14 hands n.e. 15 hands Hacks 5 hands & over Unless specified, ribbons only will be awarded for first, second and third place. CWA Perpetual Trophy is given to a member of the TARALGA PONY CLUB for the highest point score over the two days. Competitors to nominate one horse. Points awarded will be 1st — 3 pts; 2nd — 2 pts; and 3rd — 1 pt. NOTICE TO ALL EXHIBITORS The Taralga AP & H Association is affiliated with the NSW Council of Agricultural Societies – Group 7 Southern Highlands, acting under instructions from Group 7 Affiliated Societies are pledged to collect entry fees with all entries. Societies are under heavy penalty for any infringement of this instruction. On no account will any refund or rebate be given. No games of chance will be allowed on the ground. NOTICE TO PRIZE WINNERS As each award is made, the Steward in charge will issue a ticket for each prize winner, who will then be paid his or her prize money. The ticket is to be signed by the competitor and will be a receipt for the said prize. The collection of prize money is the responsibility of the prize winner. ** Prize money for Pavilion exhibits is to be collected at the Secretary’s Office** ** All other payouts to be collected from individual sections** All prize money must be collected on the day |
